Despite the significant economic, social, and cultural strength of the sector, the hospitality industry suffers from stereotypes and prejudices and is struggling due to labor shortages and high staff turnover. Since the hospitality industry has a unique capacity to create employment, attracting and retaining younger generations of hospitality professionals is one of the sector’s main concerns. The Pathway to Hospitality project, through innovative tools such as a digital game and Job on Trial, will prepare Hospitality Messengers to promote the industry in order to inspire future generations.
