HESTIA is an Erasmus+ project that meets the evolving needs of the construction industry by combining sustainable practices with digital technologies. The project promotes the use of eco-friendly materials like green concrete and supports circular economy models, while leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Digital Twin technologies to align with Europe’s vision of a greener, more digital economy.
HESTIA focuses on three main areas. First, it identifies and analyzes best practices in sustainable construction, collaborating with industry partners and associations to understand the performance and environmental benefits of innovative materials. Second, it integrates these insights into training programs for building professionals and entrepreneurs, providing hands-on experience and fostering a sustainability-first mindset, while preparing participants for the sector’s digital transformation. Finally, HESTIA enhances capacity building and knowledge sharing by bridging education, industry, and technology, offering clear guidelines to support the widespread adoption of sustainable construction practices.
Through these efforts, HESTIA empowers professionals with the tools and knowledge to drive a more sustainable, innovative, and environmentally responsible construction industry.
